Qualification: B E / B Tech - Mechanical

Experience: 15 - 22 years

Job Responsibilities:

• Buying can be related to any categoryof fabricated component along with machining ( Preferably Hydro industry / heavy Engineering , Power sector )
• Timely sending of RFQ’s to relevant vendors.
• Prepare comparative statement after negotiating the pricesand getting the same approved as per the defined matrix & able to justify the price.
• Timely Placement of PO in HYSAP on right vendor capable of executing the Order with enough capacity and on right price and able to deliver right quality.
• Ensure that PO must be transmitted along with all the relevant documents
• Regular follow up with vendor to ensure On time delivery of the ordered component.
• Able to lead the KOM ( Kick Of Meeting) with vendor
• Ensure correctness of the dispatch document including invoice
• Ensure timely payment to vendor by ensuring timely clearance of MIGO from quality and warehouse
• Manage supplier relationship with good communication.
• Regular Visit / meeting to supplier to analyze its capacity and other critical parameters for heathy supply chain.
• Handling of NCR – Timey resolution of NCR – by doing follow up with different functions and accordingly raise and resolve the claim issue with vendor.
• Resolving the commercial issues if any
