Accounts Teacher

An ability to teach mainly the Accounting module at Foundation level  An ability to develop and manage a student focused approach to learning and assessment and to enthuse a broad range of students in learning and achievement.  An ability to differentiate learning across a range of academic, cultural and language abilities.  An ability to manage learning across a range of class sizes  An ability to write, mark and feedback on assessment in accordance with academic regulations.  An ability to track, record and manage student attendance, achievement and progress and provide interventions to support student performance.  An ability to self - assess effectiveness of teaching skills against student progress and performance and cooperate fully with an embedded peer, developmental and management observation culture.  A commitment to deliver up to 800 teaching hours per year (pro-rated accordingly for part-time teachers);  A commitment to work with key stakeholders including parents, agents, sponsors, university colleagues and functional areas of INTO including marketing, admissions, finance etc.  An enthusiasm for continual improvement and development  A willingness to undertake additional responsibilities (i.e. programme development) in agreement with the line manager.
