We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Sales Manager (Groups) to join our team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for developing and managing group sales strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance our market position in the hospitality industry.
- Develop and maintain a robust customer base in assigned markets focusing on group bookings and travel trade accounts
- Achieve or exceed personal sales goals through strategic account development and maintenance
- Identify and execute key action steps to meet booking goals on a monthly quarterly and annual basis
- Collaborate with management to optimize group room rates and maximize revenue potential
- Actively target and secure new business within the assigned territory
- Qualify group business opportunities to understand the full potential of bookings and accounts
- Coordinate with convention services on groups involving both room and banquet revenue
- Attend sales meetings industry functions and hotelsponsored events to network and promote our offerings
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
- Provide professional engaging and proactive service to clients and internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers in target organizations
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales leadership role preferably in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of success in group sales and account management
- Bachelors degree in Business Hospitality Management or a related field
- Experience with luxury hotel brands is highly preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong command of English
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically to maximize group potential
- High attention to detail and strong problemsolving skills
- Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and motivate others to achieve goals
- Knowledge of the local Jeddah market and cultural norms is advantageous
- Flexibility to attend industry events and travel as required
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
