We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Sales Manager (Government) to join our team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role you will lead our efforts in developing and maintaining strong relationships with government entities driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction in the public sector market.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our government client base in Jeddah and surrounding areas
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public sector
- Respond promptly to all government client inquiries and requests for proposals
- Conduct personal sales calls telemarketing and site inspections for existing and potential government accounts
- Negotiate contracts and prepare detailed proposals for government bids
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities in the government sector
- Maintain an efficient customer database system and generate comprehensive sales activity reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of products and services to government clients
- Stay updated on government procurement processes and regulatory changes
- Represent the company at industry events trade shows and government networking functions
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances with government accounts
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales pipeline and government sector performance
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field
- Proven track record of success in government sales with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Indepth understanding of government procurement processes and public sector sales cycles
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian government structures and procurement procedures
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales reporting tools
- Experience in proposal writing and responding to government RFPs (Request for Proposals)
- Ability to navigate complex bureaucratic structures and build relationships with key decisionmakers
- Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving abilities
- Detailoriented approach to contract management and compliance
- Familiarity with government contracting regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
- Certifications in Government Contracting or Public Procurement (preferred)
- Willingness to travel within the region as required
