Job Purpose
Supervise and inspect the installation activities of Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) packages ensuring support for precommissioning and commissioning activities. This role is integral to the Construction Management team ensuring technical objectives align with the project's approved scope budget and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and quality assurance for E&I equipment installation during the construction phase.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications approved drawings schedules procedures and local statutory regulations.
- Monitor implementation of the Project Quality Plan and issue nonconformances when detected.
- Oversee planning scheduling and monitoring of E&I construction activities.
- Prepare progress reports and participate in review meetings.
- Liaise with operations maintenance teams contractors and suppliers to resolve issues and provide advice.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses.
- Manage precommissioning and commissioning activities for seamless process facility startups.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in control systems or electrical systems within EPC organizations or process plant maintenance.
- Proven expertise in E&I equipment installation precommissioning and commissioning of process plants preferably in Oil & Gas or Industrial Gas projects.
