About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Manager Cementing Lab to oversee and manage all laboratory activities supporting cementing operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cement job design testing and analysis combined with a strong strategic mindset and leadership abilities to optimize lab and field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cement Job Simulations: Design and run simulations including pre and postjob analysis for highprofile cementing designs.
- Cement Slurry Testing: Conduct testing to evaluate viscosity fluid loss compressive strength and other critical properties.
- Technical Support: Provide detailed technical analyses recalculated formulas and comprehensive reports to support engineering and sales teams.
- Operational Review: Analyze cementing job execution report issues and contribute to planning safe and efficient processes.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify issues perform troubleshooting and implement process improvements to enhance lab and field operations.
- Laboratory Oversight: Supervise all lab activities related to cementing ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Job Design Programs: Develop and implement design programs for primary and remedial cementing jobs soil stabilization projects and related services.
- Sample Testing: Coordinate lab testing of materials such as formula mixes and chemicals to ensure quality control in job designs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Schedule calibration conduct preventive maintenance and ensure proper operation of laboratory equipment.
- Procedural Updates: Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to align with client and operational requirements.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to integrate specific requirements into job designs and procedures.
- Technical Reporting: Present technical case studies simulation analyses and reports to clients and internal teams.
- OnCall Support: Provide realtime programming support and assist with troubleshooting during operations.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with sales representatives by offering technical expertise and developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for key clients.
- Team Management: Manage coach and develop a highperforming team of lab professionals.
Experience and Qualification:
- 1215 years of progressively responsible experience in cementing operations job design or related roles.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Chemistry or a related technical field.
- Indepth knowledge of cement slurry testing and analysis.
- Expertise in cement job simulations and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical reporting and client collaboration skills.
- Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Proven leadership in managing and developing teams.
