Role Purpose
The successful candidate will report to the Director of Digital Delivery / Head of Digital Platforms and oversee the successful delivery coordination and alignment of digital initiatives and projects. Managing multiple concurrent digital initiatives ensuring alignment with the companys strategic goals optimizing resource allocation and driving the successful execution of projects in both Waterfall and Agile manner. Working closely with crossfunctional teams and leadership to ensure that all digital initiatives within the portfolio are delivered on time within scope and within budget. The successful candidate will develop strong program and project management capability across the digital function and all digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio/Program Management: Oversee and manage the portfolio of digital initiatives ensuring successful execution of them and underlying digital projects and solutions from inception to completion. Monitor and report on the progress of all projects within the portfolio ensuring alignment with company goals timelines and budgets.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the leaderships and stakeholders to ensure all digital initiatives are aligned with the companys strategic vision. Evaluate and prioritize projects based on business value resource availability and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Resource and Capacity Management: Plan allocate and manage resources across multiple projects to optimize efficiency and ensure highpriority initiatives are fully supported. Identify resource gaps and work with leadership to address capacity issues or adjust project timelines.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify assess and manage risks across the portfolio. Develop mitigation strategies to address potential roadblocks. Ensure timely resolution of issues and escalate when necessary to maintain project momentum and delivery schedules.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with product management engineering marketing sales and customer success teams to ensure the successful delivery of each solution. Ensure dependencies between projects are wellmanaged and that crossfunctional teams are aligned on priorities and objectives.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report key against performance indicators (KPIs) and plans across the solution portfolio to measure project progress and success value delivered and overall portfolio health. Provide regular status updates to the stakeholders and leadership team highlighting project progress risks and resource needs.
- Capability Development: Design establish and operate the digital portfolio program and project management capability; socializing and educating teams and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve program and project management processes tools and methodologies to enhance delivery efficiency. Facilitate postproject reviews to capture lessons learned and apply best practices to future projects.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial performance for the portfolio ensuring that all projects stay within budget and deliver expected financial outcomes. Support leadership in financial forecasting and costbenefit analysis for future projects.
Knowledge Skills and Experience Required
- Industry experience in project and program management preferably within a digital or technologydriven company. Proven experience managing complex projects or portfolios ideally in a fastpaced environment.
- Experienced agile practitioner working in disciplined and scaled environments
- Reported to frequently worked with or accountable to senior management.
- Proven experience setting up digital/IT project management office and leading it.
- Extensive experience managing complex Digital & IT projects.
- Experience in working in a client & projectoriented industry.
- Excellent expertise in managing stakeholders of various levels and backgrounds.
- Experience in leading project management teams.
- Experience in working with vendors and contractors and integrating their work into the overall project or solution plan monitor their progress and assure quality of their deliverables.
- Working knowledge of various project management frameworks and methodologies such as Agile Scrum Waterfall RUP and related industry best practices.
- Experience in managing and delivering multiple concurrent digital initiatives and projects
- Expert level skills with Microsoft Office products such as Excel Visio MS Project and experience in developing mockups.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead heterogenous and local and remote teams.
- Fluency in written read and spoken English.
- Highly competent in MS Office Suite of Apps (Word Excel Power Point) MS Teams SharePoint Databases Power BI PowerApps System JIRA and JIRA Portfolio/Plans
