Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Leasing Administrator to join our team. The Leasing Administrator will play a vital role in managing lease agreements, tenant relations, and property documentation. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a customer-focused attitude to ensure smooth leasing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lease Management:

    • Prepare, review, and process lease agreements, amendments, and renewals.
    • Maintain an organized filing system for all leasing documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and up to date.
    • Monitor lease expirations and coordinate renewals or terminations as needed.
  2. Tenant Relations:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding lease-related inquiries and concerns.
    • Assist in addressing tenant requests and issues promptly, fostering a positive living or working environment.
    • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including property inspections and the return of security deposits.
  3. Financial Administration:

    • Process rent payments and ensure timely collection of fees.
    • Maintain accurate records of payments, including late fees and adjustments.
    • Assist in preparing financial reports related to leasing activity, occupancy rates, and revenue projections.
  4. Compliance and Regulations:

    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal leasing regulations.
    • Stay informed about changes in real estate laws and industry best practices.
    • Assist in the preparation of property audits and inspections.
  5. Marketing and Advertising:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective leasing strategies and promotional materials.
    • Assist in conducting property showings for prospective tenants, highlighting key features and benefits.
    • Maintain online property listings and respond to inquiries from potential tenants.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in leasing administration or property management is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
