Facilities Support Gardena CA

Shift: 1st Shift 9/80 work schedule

Major Purpose:

• Provide Preventative & Reactive maintenance on facilities equipment and grounds.
• Limited Preventative & Reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Routine Inspections of Fire Safety Systems.
• Routing Inspections of Facility and Grounds.
• Basic Carpentry and maintenance of facility physical structure.
• Coordinating with vendors on contracted work.
• Basic trouble shooting/repairs on Electrical Plumbing walls & floors.
• Utilizing ladders and lifts.
• Understanding of applicable health and safety regulations and industrial standards and practices such as NFPA DOT ANSI OSHA etc.
• Proficient computer skills and MS Office.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with using a facility and equipment CMMS (e.g. Facility works)
• OSHA NFPA EPA and/or other related education or professional credentials a plus.
• HVAC Plumbing or Electrical certifications a plus.
• Education:
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 02 years of prior related experience.
