Job Description
Facilities Support Gardena CA
Shift: 1st Shift 9/80 work schedule
Major Purpose:
- Provide Preventative & Reactive maintenance on facilities equipment and grounds.
- Limited Preventative & Reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Routine Inspections of Fire Safety Systems.
- Routing Inspections of Facility and Grounds.
- Basic Carpentry and maintenance of facility physical structure.
- Coordinating with vendors on contracted work.
- Basic trouble shooting/repairs on Electrical Plumbing walls & floors.
- Utilizing ladders and lifts.
- Understanding of applicable health and safety regulations and industrial standards and practices such as NFPA DOT ANSI OSHA etc.
- Proficient computer skills and MS Office.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with using a facility and equipment CMMS (e.g. Facility works)
- OSHA NFPA EPA and/or other related education or professional credentials a plus.
- HVAC Plumbing or Electrical certifications a plus.
- Education:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 02 years of prior related experience.
