An exciting opportunity to join the Qatar Airways as Business Support Officer. In this role you will be providing logistical and administrative support to the operational departments within Corporate Services, for efficient and effective delivery of the organizational goals. From analyzing business performance, managing service level agreements and budgets, to ensuring business performance aligns with the company goals, this position plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the operational section
Your duties would include:
• Controls seamless functioning of the FMS workflow, including escalation of sticky issues, thus ensuring timely redressal of staff matters in company accommodation/offices.
• Continuously evaluate system limitations of the various FMS modules, comparing them with the actual on-site scenarios so they can be taken to IT for system enhancement/development.
• Visit the properties collaborating with property owners, tenants and contractors to address compliance issues.
• Maintain and update skill/trade wise subcontracted staff matrix, along with their contractual rates, to validate the same with the invoice submissions and highlight discrepancies, if any.
• Investigate escalations from occupants/staff, including service improvement suggestions to formulate a ‘lessons learnt’ document, promoting a continuous improvement work culture.
• Drafts business documentation for FM, including report writing, presentations, spreadsheet/dashboard preparation and periodically update such documents which serve as a day-to-day guideline for the larger FM technical task force.
• Organizes and prioritizes tasks for FM leadership briefings, monitors action areas and reports progress with tasks.
• Manages a team of employees who coordinate internal and external communications with QR staff and service providers for power shutdowns, generator testing, façade cleaning etc. so that occupants can plan their day accordingly.
• Performs reconciliation of building assets/ACs in FMS vs Actuals, to ensure proper tracking for AMC visits/servicing schedules so that the life of the asset is maximized.
• Train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place.
• Assist in preparing Scope of Work, Preliminary drawings, BOQ for any FM related project so that the document(s) are as exhaustive as possible.
