Our client a leading provider of customized logistics and transportation solution company based in Lagos is seeking to hire a Finance Reporting Manager


Job Summary:

The Finance Reporting Manager will prepare analyze and present financial reports to ensure the companys financial health. The role involves maintaining compliance with financial regulations collaborating with various departments and providing insights to support strategic decisionmaking.


Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data under Nigerian accounting standards and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget variances and provide analysis to management.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit statutory reports and tax filings on time.

Internal Controls:

  • Develop and implement internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal controls.

Data Analysis and Presentation:

Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and areas of improvement.

Present financial information to senior management clearly and concisely.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to gather necessary financial information and support their financial needs.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and reviews.

System Management:

  • Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data in the companys ERP system.



Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional certification (ACA ACCA CIMA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting preferably in the logistics and transportation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) financial reporting standards (IFRS) and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for details.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of relevant Nigerian tax regulations is a strong plus.
