- Listen to clients travel needs preferences and budgets.
- Create detailed travel itineraries including flights hotels visas etc.
- Promote and sell travel packages including tours cruises and vacation packages.
- Address client queries regarding destinations travel restrictions pricing and other travelrelated concerns.
- Handle issues that arise before during or after travel such as flight cancellations delays or booking errors.
- Handle payments for bookings and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare reports on sales bookings and client feedback to assist in decisionmaking and strategy planning.
- Handle online marketing social media and the agency s digital presence.
Requirements
HND OND or B.Sc with 2years solid experience as a Travel Consultant
NITT Nigeria Institute of Travel Institute
Clear and effective verbal and written communication to interact with clients and suppliers.
Capability to resolve issues that arise during the travel planning process or while clients are traveling.
Ability to promote and sell travel products and services effectively.
Ensuring accuracy in bookings itineraries and travel documentation.
Proficiency with Booking Systems
Experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus Sabre or Galileo.
