Job Description

Medical Support Assistant (2) fulltime for a base duration of one year this is a remote position. A Medical Support Assistant is responsible for answering phones greeting patients relaying messages to appropriate staff inside or outside of the unit scheduling appointments including interpreting and verifying provider orders in accordance with VHA national scheduling guidelines.

Contractors will work eight hours per day five days per week

Contractor must be present at the VAMC and must be performing the required services for the period specified in the contract or the contract costs will be decreased accordingly during each billing cycle. The payment for any leave including sick leave vacation time and authorized Federal holidays is the responsibility of the Agency.

Submittal Requirements

HS Diploma and or Equivalent combination of experience and education are qualifying for entry level for which both education and experience are acceptable
