Overview
The AEM Project Manager plays a crucial role in leading the successful implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) projects within the organization. They are responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to delivery ensuring the seamless integration of AEM solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage AEM implementation projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project scope goals and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans timelines and budgets.
- Allocate project resources effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and processes for AEM development and implementation.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate quality assurance and user acceptance testing processes.
- Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and practices within the project team.
- Manage vendor relationships and thirdparty service providers.
- Conduct postimplementation reviews and provide continuous improvement recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest AEM capabilities and industry trends.
- Ensure smooth transition and knowledge transfer to the support and maintenance teams.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in project delivery.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Business or related field.
- Proven experience in project management with a focus on AEM implementations.
- Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager and its associated technologies.
- Experience in leading crossfunctional teams and managing diverse stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in AEM projects.
- Excellent communication negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Indepth knowledge of AEM best practices architecture and integration patterns.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP PRINCE2) is a plus.
