Infectious Diseases Nurse Practitioner-NP-Physician Assistant-PA-Queens-NY

A prestigious nationwide healthcare organization providing service to a chain of nursing homes in Bronx and Queens NY is looking to immediately hire an Infectious Diseases Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with an active NY license to work collaboratively with their teams of Infectious Diseases Doctors and healthcare professionals at various nursing homes across the area of Bronx and Queens NY providing comprehensive infectious diseases care to patients. Your expertise in diagnosing treating and managing infectious conditions will be pivotal in delivering highquality patientcentered care. These centers offer a compensation package based on a combination of a base salary and the Relative Value Unit (RVU) system with an average total compensation ranging from $90000 to $120000 per year and a benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care
• Assessing and treating patients with neurology diseases and conditions
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals
• Assess diagnose and treat residents physical and mental wellbeing
• Conduct thorough patient assessments including medical history reviews and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and administer treatments
• Provide counseling to residents and their families
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for seamless coordination of care
• Manage chronic conditions and monitor progress
• Make appropriate adjustments to care plans
• Commitment to personcentered care
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for elderly residents in the nursing home

Qualifications:

• 6 months experience in longterm care
• DEA License
• Active NY state license
• Experience in infectious diseases (1 year min.)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
