As a growing company we value the most crucial asset funds. Hence we are seeking a Head of Finance who will manage all operations related to Finance matters.
Currently the finance tasks are delegated to the backoffice team of our group company. However we are now seeing a need to have a dedicated member who would be involved and managing the business planning financial and accounting systems for our Japanese operations which led to this recruitment.
We aim to hire our first dedicated Finance person to lead and manage all facets of finance and accounting operations to drive transformation for an efficient and scalable Finance function for our Japanese operations.
Specific Duties
1. Overseeing accounting treasury tax and financial planning and analysis functions in accordance with the Groups standards and rules.
2. Structuring the financial organization as needed to lead transformation and create a bestinclass finance function that will support our growth and scalability.
3. Leading the development and use of bestpractice policies practices and tools that ensure a wellcontrolled yet flexible organization with strong tax management project management crossteam communications and workflows.
4. Complying with local financial requirements for financial and tax reporting by studying existing and new regulations enforcing compliance and taking action.
5. Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities for the company.
6. Ensuring timely and accurate financial closing processes including overall responsibility for completion of the annual audit.
7. Building and expanding a highfunctioning successful finance team that is able to scale with a focus on shortterm and longterm business strategy and planning.
8. Monitoring local cash position seeking approvals for funding and ensuring cash flow availability and utilization.
9. Preparing and maintaining cashflow forecasts and projections to effectively manage cash balances.
10. Establishing and maintaining effective financial management ensuring sound business practices compliance with internal control and local rules.
11. Profit and loss management financial analysis proposals and execution for profit improvement.
12. Business and budget planning and management.
13. Provision of appropriate financial information advice and guidance for strategic management decisions.
14. Providing appropriate financial information advice and guidance to the CEO for strategic decisions and for monitoring its performance in accordance with the Group rules.
15. Partnering with the Global Finance team on operational accounting and tax matters.
16. Company response following the Groups Minimum Controls Requirements project.
17. Establishing systems for management supervision and risk management of accounting finance and tax and realizing those systems.
18. Establishing systems for planning promoting and analyzing accounting finance and realizing those systems.
19. General accounting and management accounting tasks including consolidated settlement tasks and department management.
20. Dealing with financial institutions.
21. Tax returns.

Remote work available: 3 days in office 2 days remote
Annual Salary:JPY The above amount is indicative. The actual salary will be determined based on experience and ability. Evaluation will be comprehensive taking into account skills knowledge practical execution ability and communication skills.
Hours: Flextime system
8 hours a day with a core time from 12:00 16:00 JST
2 days off per week (weekends) as well as national holidays yearend and New Year holidays etc.
5 days of paid holidays upon joining the company (can be taken in halfday or oneday increments)
