Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled contract Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Columbus Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients recover from injuries and improve their overall wellbeing through effective therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans and providing therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor and document patients progress reporting any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment ensuring equipment is in proper working order.
• Adhere to all regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

• Parttime flexible hours. Specific schedule to be determined based on candidate availability.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience and qualifications.
