Job Title: Allen Bradley PLC Consultant

Job Location: Dearborn Michigan

Job Type: Full Time 4 position.

Job Description:

• Provide direction for controls equipment locations for safety maintenance and production consideration for tool install and through launch.
• Analyze customer requirements and map to NGAVS systems design
• Develop process flow diagrams based on customer input
• Operations tooling and process control systems
• Work with vendor controls engineers to install test and debug standard NGAVS logic and drivers
• Create custom PLC code for plant unique situations or modify standard templates and AOLs to address issues identified by others
• Modify standard HMI code for AllenBradley PanelView HMIs for plant specific requirements
• May also direct the efforts of others including agency personnel or thirdparty controls integrators depending on the project assigned
• To support New Model Program build events (TT PP MP1&2) the candidate may be required to work during nonstandard hours such as evenings weekends or holidays.

Requirement:

• Rockwell AllenBradly PLC5 and ControlLogix in an automobile manufacturing environment
• Rockwell AllenBradley PanelView HMIs
• Rockwell Factory Talk Production Center
• Experience with SmartEye vehicle identification
• Experience with SICK barcode scanners or equivalent (e.g. Keyence Cognex)
• Experiences in Ethernet Device Net Profinet Profibus etc. networking especially Ethernet/IP
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all levels of operating management
• Strong interpersonal skills to build close working relationship with customers
• 5 years of experience with AllenBradly PLC5 and ControlLogix in an automobile manufacturing environment
• 5 years of experience with AllenBradley PanelView HMIs
