Job Title: Financial Risk Consultant

Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Financial Risk Consultant to join our team and provide expert guidance on identifying assessing and mitigating financial risks within our organization. The Financial Risk Consultant will play a crucial role in evaluating risk management strategies enhancing risk frameworks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets risk management principles and the ability to implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential financial risks across various areas of the organization including market risk credit risk liquidity risk and operational risk.
• Develop and implement risk management policies procedures and controls to mitigate identified risks and enhance overall risk resilience.
• Monitor and analyze market trends economic indicators and industry developments to assess potential impacts on the organizations risk profile.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including finance compliance and operations teams to integrate risk management practices into business processes and decisionmaking.
• Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies capital allocation and riskadjusted return optimization.
• Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of adverse events on the organizations financial performance and stability.
• Prepare and present risk management reports findings and recommendations to stakeholders including the board of directors and regulatory authorities.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements industry best practices and emerging trends in financial risk management ensuring compliance and proactive risk management strategies.
• Support the development and implementation of risk management frameworks tools and methodologies to enhance the organizations risk management capabilities.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on risk awareness control measures and compliance with risk management policies and procedures.

Skills Required:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Risk Management or related field (Masters degree CFA FRM or similar certifications preferred).
• Proven experience as a Financial Risk Consultant Risk Manager or similar role in financial services consulting or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets products and risk management frameworks (e.g. Basel III DoddFrank Act etc.).
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis financial modeling and risk assessment techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Experience with risk management software and tools (e.g. RiskMetrics Bloomberg etc.) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to financial risk management.
