Municipal Project Engineer

• Coordinate workload of drafting personnel technicians and other engineers
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  
• Provide input and coordinate with other departments
  
• Provide data to be used for cost estimating and securing preliminary equipment costs for review
  
• Develop/implement new ideas/procedures to improve productivity
  
• Assist with business development
  
• Prepare complex reports/conclusions
  
• Prepare design calculations design drawings and specifications
  
• Prepare feasibility studies
  
• Maintain complete project records/documentation
  
• Meet/exceed client needs
  
• Ensure projects meet company QA/QC standards
  

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering
  
• 7 years of civil engineering experience
  
• PE License
  
• Proficient in computerbased design tools (AutoCAD GIS etc.)
  
• Understanding of industry standards of design
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
