Job Description
TBest Services is seeking a Project Engineer to work on innovative civil engineering site development projects in Northern Virginia. If you hold a BSCE or MSCE degree and an EIT Certificate this is your chance to make an impact and grow professionally in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Our client a fullservice Civil Engineering and Site Development consulting firm. They offer services that span Civil Engineering design Planning Entitlement Surveying Dry Utility Design Geomatics and Landscape Architecture.
As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in technical calculations reports design and coordination of civil engineering site development projects. You will contribute to various site design aspects such as erosion control grading stormwater management sanitary sewer water and road design. You will collaborate closely with project managers and design technicians to deliver innovative and effective design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical calculations reports and design work related to civil engineering projects
- Participate in the design and coordination of site development projects including erosion control stormwater management grading and infrastructure design (roads sewer and water distribution)
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to create unique and efficient design solutions
Qualifications:
- BSCE or MSCE degree
- EIT Certificate
- 14 years of civil engineering design experience with a focus on land development
- Strong proficiency in Civil 3D (site grading pipe networks etc.)
- Technical expertise in roadways grading stormwater management erosion control and sanitary sewer design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook and Project)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
