HVAC Project Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee the design engineering installation and aftermarket support of commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in HVAC system design experience with multiple projects simultaneously and proficiency in project management tools. This role requires a detailoriented professional capable of managing project deliverables documentation and communication between various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and manage 540 HVAC projects concurrently ensuring timely and withinbudget delivery of all phases including design installation and support.
• Design/Engineering Support: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to support the creation of HVAC systems reviewing and interpreting construction documentation RFIs and product specifications.
• Documentation Review: Produce review and manage project deliverables including pricing drawings materials and samples.
• Coordination: Work with architectural structural electrical and other trade professionals to ensure integrated system design and implementation.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee verification activities to ensure project compliance with standards and specifications.
• Client Interaction: Maintain effective communication with clients addressing concerns and providing updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Team Leadership: Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to facilitate project execution and resolve any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional work experience in project management with at least 3 years specifically supporting the design and engineering of HVAC systems.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of full system design including interaction with architectural structural electrical and other trades.
• Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) certifications are a plus.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
• Experience with AutoCAD or other modeling tools.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering HVAC Engineering or a related field is required.
