Automation Engineer

Your role as an Automation Engineer:

• identify and correct the electrical failures or automation equipment programs;
• design automation panels;
• repair industrial electronic equipment;
• handle complex tasks regarding the assembling and repairing the production equipment and automation gears;
• train plant technicians and operators in using the equipment and systems;
• identify and recommend changes and ways to improve the production processes and be part of new projects.
• be in charge of daily troubleshooting operations for production equipment
• commissioning and software optimization
• Manage and track maintenance work update maintenance plans and keep maintenance records
• Search for alternative local technical suppliers
• Ensure calibration of required equipment
• Ensure continuous functioning of production machinery
• Responsible for leading Breakdown Analysis

You are a good fit here if you have:

• bachelors Degree in Electronics Automation or Electrotechnics and is experienced in electrical actioning (frequency converters and servo actioning);
• strong level of English both written and spoken with a focus on technical language;
• hands on experience in an automation engineer role;
• manufacturing industry experience 5 year;
• good understanding of electrical diagrams;
• hands on experience and knowledge in programing PLC & HMI;
• experience in designing electrical and pneumatical automation equipment;
• innovation mindset while having the capacity to analyze situations and provide solutions;
• LEAN mindset and experience in project management (Kanban Gantt chart RACI)
