Your role as an Automation Engineer:
- identify and correct the electrical failures or automation equipment programs;
- design automation panels;
- repair industrial electronic equipment;
- handle complex tasks regarding the assembling and repairing the production equipment and automation gears;
- train plant technicians and operators in using the equipment and systems;
- identify and recommend changes and ways to improve the production processes and be part of new projects.
- be in charge of daily troubleshooting operations for production equipment
- commissioning and software optimization
- Manage and track maintenance work update maintenance plans and keep maintenance records
- Search for alternative local technical suppliers
- Ensure calibration of required equipment
- Ensure continuous functioning of production machinery
- Responsible for leading Breakdown Analysis
You are a good fit here if you have:
- bachelors Degree in Electronics Automation or Electrotechnics and is experienced in electrical actioning (frequency converters and servo actioning);
- strong level of English both written and spoken with a focus on technical language;
- hands on experience in an automation engineer role;
- manufacturing industry experience 5 year;
- good understanding of electrical diagrams;
- hands on experience and knowledge in programing PLC & HMI;
- experience in designing electrical and pneumatical automation equipment;
- innovation mindset while having the capacity to analyze situations and provide solutions;
- LEAN mindset and experience in project management (Kanban Gantt chart RACI)
