Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing and monitoring respiratory treatments
• Evaluating patient assessments and recommending appropriate respiratory therapy
• Conducting diagnostic testing
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop patient care plans
• Responding to emergency situations and providing life support
• Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Documenting patient care and treatment plans
• Providing patient and family education on respiratory disorders and treatments
• Maintaining respiratory therapy equipment
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Valid state respiratory therapy license
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and practices
• Experience working in a clinical setting
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
