The Role

As a therapist at Connect2Care you will be joining a multidisciplinary team. You will provide evidencebased services to people through multiple service delivery models including telehealth community visits and centrebased services. Referrals may come through the NDIS Medicare or privately. It is a mobile role with the option to work from home or our hubs when not seeing clients. The role will involve the following:

  • Assessing and providing interventions for children & adults living with a range of disabilities
  • Working within the NDIS to maximise clients level of function capacity & social engagement
  • Assisting clients with assistive technology assessment recommendations and applications (in relevant fields)
  • Timely documentation & report writing
  • Managing a varied caseload
  • Meeting company professional expectations (e.g. meeting billables & effective client management)
  • Attending meetings supervision & personal development (as required)
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders including therapists clients & referral sources
  • Working across leading software platforms & online tools


The New Grad Program

Connect2Care has developed and specifically tailored a New Graduate Program to make the transition smoother for new graduates entering the workplace. The program fully supports recent graduates enabling them to acquire the skills needed to launch them into a successful career. Spanning over 12 months and starting from the moment you step through our doors.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in related field
  • Disciplinespecific professional registration (e.g. AHPRA/SPA)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Police Check & International Police Check (only applicable to individuals who have lived overseas)
  • Drivers licence & access to a reliable vehicle
  • Car insurance
  • Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance

The Role This person will be responsible for assisting our Operations Manager within the administration team and assisting with practice and office management at our Yeerongpilly site in Brisbane. The Practice and Administration Manager will be required to work closely with the administration team and therapy staff to ensure optimal service delivery & management of administrative tasks. This position is a combination role of practice administration, along with assisting therapists in managing client relationships with key stakeholders of the NDIS. Our administration staff work with key stakeholders, client queries, intake and bookings. They assist with non-clinical work within the NDIS space. Connect2Care will train the appropriate candidate in the scope of the NDIS, giving them the knowledge needed to provide appropriate assistance to therapists & clients. The successful candidate will: Be an all rounder, under the operations manager, managing day to day operations of the administration team Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the Brisbane office Be responsible for induction & training of new staff Proficiently manage phone calls & emails Improve efficiencies with current software Improve knowledge & education around NDIS queries Work closely with the therapy staff & team leaders to ensure service delivery to clients is optimal Be the front line to all client/key stakeholder queries Answer inbound calls & offer high-end customer service Operate the company booking system Manage query stage enquiries, initial appointments, interpreters, NDIS paperwork & all other client management Liaise with clients, their families, & key stakeholders for those living with disability Work with Microsoft Office 365 & other Connect2Care software This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of others, resulting in one feeling mightily rewarded by their work.
