Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on employment law to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law litigation exceptional analytical abilities and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients in various employmentrelated matters.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Handle a caseload of employment law matters from inception through resolution including but not limited to discrimination harassment wrongful termination wage and hour disputes and retaliation claims.
   
2. Conduct legal research and analysis draft pleadings motions and other legal documents and prepare for and participate in hearings depositions and trials.
   
3. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies evaluate potential outcomes and provide guidance to clients on legal issues and risks.
   
4. Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel and courts to advocate for clients interests and negotiate favorable settlements when appropriate.
   
5. Stay abreast of developments in employment law court decisions and legislative changes to ensure effective representation of clients and compliance with legal requirements.
   
6. Assist with business development efforts including participating in client meetings networking events and marketing initiatives to cultivate and maintain client relationships and contribute to the growth of the firm.
   

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the California State Bar.
   
2. 25 years of litigation experience with a focus on employment law preferably in a reputable law firm or government agency.
   
3. Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws regulations and procedures including Title VII ADA FMLA FLSA and California labor laws.
   
4. Excellent legal research writing and analytical skills with the ability to effectively advocate for clients interests in both written and oral communication.
   
5. Proven ability to manage a caseload work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve results.
   
6. Demonstrated professionalism integrity and commitment to providing exceptional client service while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
   
7. Proficiency in legal research tools document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
