About the job
The Legal Associate shall aid on legal matters and advice on related documentation, negotiations, contracts, etc.
Responsibilities
- Participating in formulating policies and objectives for the legal affairs.
- Proposing long, medium and short-term strategies to manage activities concerning the legal issues.
- Endorsing suggested plans and programs to achieve expected objectives.
- Disseminating legal instructions, circulars and information.
- Studying of constitution, statutes, laws, rulings and regulations and keep abreast of their updates to determine their legal implications on Royal Jordanian.
- Examination of legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits.
- Acting as an agent of Royal Jordanian in various transactions and representation of Royal Jordanian in litigations and other legal proceedings.
- Providing advice to Royal Jordanian concerning transactions of business involving internal affairs and corporate relations.
- Preparation or review of business contracts.
- Administration and follow-up on all lawsuits concerning Royal Jordanian in coordination with Royal Jordanian lawyers in Jordan and abroad.
- Preparing periodic reports with respect to the section activities and achievements to be submitted to the President

- Communication skill.

- Excellent drafting skills
- Negotiating skills
- Ability to maintain Confidentiality

Qualifications:
- Maximum 5 years of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law
- Member of the Jordanian BAR
