Chef de Partie
Michelinstarred restaurant is currently seeking a Chef de Partie to join their talented team. As a Chef de Partie you will work alongside Chef Patron Vincent Crepel and his team to create exceptional dishes that celebrate the brilliance of nature. The restaurant offers a contemporary French cuisine with exciting Asian flavors using exceptional local and seasonal produce.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the menu and Chef Patron's instructions
- Ensure highquality and visually appealing presentation of all food items
- Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen
- Supervise and train junior chefs and apprentices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen equipment and workstations
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Contribute to menu development and suggest new ideas for dishes
- Ensure efficient stock control and minimize food wastage
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a highquality restaurant
- Strong knowledge of French cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and highpressure environment
- Excellent culinary and creative skills
- Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- Proficient in using kitchen equipment and tools
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Michelinstarred or fine dining restaurant
- Experience with Asian flavors and fusion cuisine
- Experience in menu planning and development
- Experience in training and mentoring junior chefs
Salary and Benefits:
