The requirements for this Grocery Manager Job:

• Retail Management experience in a fastpaced retail shop setting high convenience small medium or large supermarket environment or discount retail would be a distinct advantage.
  
• Proficient in using EPOS systems
  
• Customer Service experience
  
• Flexible to work occasional late evenings weekend work as well
  
• Professional attitude can motivate and lead people around you
  
• Passion for grocery retail and working with the general public.

Responsibilities for this Grocery Manager Job:

• Leading and motivating your teams under you to deliver on store and department objectivities
  
• Controlling rosters planning and organising your schedules to meet customer demands and maintaining the standards in your department and in the shop
  
• Shop Minding up to twice a week occasionally running the Sunday shift as the main manager in charge.
  
• Reaching commercial objectives like sales profit margins and productivity targets
  
• Approachable and a role model who leads by example encourages teamwork and fosters a positive attitude and atmosphere in the workplace.
