The ideal candidate for this Retail Security Officer Job:

• Previous experience within a retail security role
  

• Hold a current PSA Security Guard License is essential
  

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  

• Excellent interpersonal skills
  

• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  

Responsibilities for this Retail Security Officer Job:

• Monitor store premises to deter theft vandalism and other security threats.
  

• Provide assistance to customers and maintain a friendly approachable presence.
  

• Respond swiftly to security or safety incidents including emergencies and document all occurrences accurately.
  

• Key holding responsibilities to include opening/closing of the Store
  

• Carry out routine spot checks on waste deliveries closing stock refunds voids and employees
  

• Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
  

• Conduct regular patrols of the store focusing on entrances exits and other vulnerable areas.
  

• Ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures.
