We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Hardwood Floor Installer to join our team at Jack Laurie Commercial Flooring. As a Commercial Hardwood Floor Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of hardwood flooring in commercial spaces. Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and refinish hardwood floors in various commercial settings, such as Gyms, Schools, offices, retail stores, and restaurants.
   
2. Measure and cut hardwood materials to fit the installation area accurately.
   
3. Prepare the installation site by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring it is free from any debris or obstacles.
   
4. Assess the condition of the subfloor and make necessary repairs or adjustments before hardwood installation.
   
5. Apply adhesives, fasteners, and other installation materials as needed.
   
6. Sand, stain, and finish hardwood floors to achieve a high-quality, polished appearance.
   
7. Inspect and troubleshoot flooring issues to determine the best course of action for repairs.
   
8. Provide excellent customer service, including addressing client inquiries and concerns.
   
9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of tools and materials.
   
10. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in hardwood flooring installation.
    

Requirements

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Commercial Hardwood Floor Installer.
   
2. Strong knowledge of various hardwood floor types, installation methods, and finishing techniques.
   
3. Ability to operate and maintain installation tools and equipment.
   
4. Proficiency in measuring and cutting hardwood materials accurately.
   
5. Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to them always.
   
6. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
   
7. Strong communication and customer service skills.
   
8. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy flooring materials and equipment.
   
9. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
   
10. High school diploma or equivalent.
    

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications related to hardwood floor installation and refinishing.
  
• Prior experience working on commercial projects and managing a team of installers.
