Currently, we are seeking a Service Support Engineer (m/f/d) Microscopy SSD EMEA, who would like to work in an international customer-centric environment, helping us understand customer issues quickly and fix their problems

Tasks

  • In your role as Service Support Engineer (m/f/d) Microscopy SSD EMEA, you are responsible for the remote product support (hardware, software, installation) for assigned microscopy routine/advanced and high-end product portfolio. Target group are all external & internal customers and Olympus Service Partners
  • You take over the remote support by using the available support tools
  • You are responsible for in-house & on-site service for the assigned advanced and high-end product portfolio
  • Furthermore, you take over the service engineering for the assigned product portfolio (development of training concepts, monitoring of the service license status, monitoring & development of service concepts, providing of TSC service documentation)
  • You perform service training courses regarding hardware & software content

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed professional technical education in the area of mechanics or electronics
  • Preferably, you have successfully completed a Bachelor/Master degree in biomedical, electronics, mechanical or similar engineering
  • You have several years with optical measurement & monitoring equipment, experience in microscopy is preferred
  • You have several years experience within customer support (remote & on-site)
  • Good user-level knowledge of MS O365 completes your profile
  • You can demonstrate excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization and with external customers, including in English
  • Your strengths include a very good PC hardware and software knowledge, a high quality awareness and a self-dependent working style
  • You enjoy traveling up to 30%
