KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with the Process Lead to ensure all elements of Global Product Safety & Medical Scientific Affairs SAP PLM business requirements are designed, built, tested, and deployed within SAP S/4HANA.
- Works with the Process Lead to translate business process requirements to IT build items.
- Supports evaluation of AS IS operational issues and highlighted global solution roadblocks and propose alternatives that lead to adoption of the new global standard process.
- Participates in business process model definition meetings and interfaces with Process Lead as required for clarifications
- Support the development of sprint and deliverable plans, including prioritization of build items from a business process perspective. Work with PMO team members following Agile project management methodology.
- Builds the institutional solution knowledge for long-term business understanding and support. Support creation of training materials, work instructions and procedures based on new business processes.
- Act as Point of Contact for Build Item and Requirement clarifications during the Agile Sprint
- Work with cross functional and intradepartmental stakeholders to identify and understand their needs
- Coordinates integration requirements within different SAP modules and between SAP and 3rd party systems.
- Responsible for deliverables (Business Process Requirements, Business Process Design Docs, Business Process Model)
- Ensures existing product safety and chemical management system interfaces are identified and designed appropriately into the new solution(s). Consider global activities and requirements.
- Liaison with the product safety and medical team to ensure current standards are well understood and integrated into the duration of Digital Transformation.
- Develops standardized system approaches aligned with industry best practices in product safety and chemical management.
- Provides expertise by sharing external safety, stewardship and compliance environment, industry trends as well recommending actions to address any potential impact to the enterprise.

Additional Notes:
- Must have experience working in SAP (look and apply knowledge of chemical compliance, SDS and understand PLM).
- Experience with quality compliance, but systems driven.
- Must be independent, take initiative to get clarification or answers.
- Will be interacting with toxicologists to write up requirements and ensuring that they can be understood from a technical perspective.
- Project management or leader experience helpful.
- People with experience working in medical devices and products, cosmetics or food industry would be helpful. SAP migration, SAP transition, SAP revisions experience (compliance). Not looking for a toxicologist, but be able to relate to them.
- The candidate needs to understand the systems and how they work together/functionality, document how the process works and how it should function.
