Job Description

This is a remote position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct indepth research and analysis to stay abreast of emerging federal and state healthcare regulations impacting EHR systems including ONC HIT Certification criteria HIPAA Meaningful Use and other relevant standards.
Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear and concise product specifications and user stories for development teams.
Partner with engineering quality assurance and product development teams to implement regulatory requirements into the EHR platform.
Manage the product lifecycle for regulatory features ensuring timely completion testing and documentation.
Develop and maintain comprehensive regulatory documentation including risk assessments traceability matrices and gap analyses.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal sales support) to ensure a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and their impact on clients.
Monitor industry trends and participate in relevant regulatory working groups to stay current on best practices.
Communicate regulatory updates and their impact on the product roadmap to internal teams and external clients.
Conduct training sessions for internal teams on relevant regulatory requirements and the functionality of the EHR platform related to those regulations. Education and Experience
Bachelor s degree in business administration computer science healthcare administration or a related field.
Five (5) years of experience in product management and/or healthcare regulations.
Indepth understanding of ambulatory care workflows challenges and best practices (e.g. scheduling billing clinical documentation).
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a datadriven approach.
Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
Experience conducting user research and translating user needs into product requirements.
