International law firm seeks a Legal Practice Group Coordinator/Legal Assistant/Personal Assistant to support their office in Washington DC.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Research potential new member services and benefits, prospective members, and ways to increase revenue
- Create and implement marketing campaigns via email, social media (LinkedIn), and traditional mail
- Finalize agendas, minutes, and any follow up from member meetings
- Report on congressional hearings, and regulatory agency meetings
- Draft alerts to keep membership up to date on significant news items pertaining to the mutual industry
- Provide high level communication on behalf of the group to CEOs, regulators and Members of Congress
- Handle day-to-day membership operations including invoicing, financial reconciliation, and follow up on outstanding dues
- Maintain existing website and work to complete new website development
- Draft comment letters on proposed legislation and regulation
- Prepare quarterly lobbying reports
- Other tasks, duties, and projects as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree required, preferably in Marketing, Political Science, or Finance
- Experience with graphic design & social media
- Ability to maintain and improve marketing databases
- Strong proofreading and computer skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work collaboratively, multi-task and prioritize various projects with competing deadlines
- Professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts
- 3 or more years of experience supporting law firms or financial institutions required
