Business Systems Analyst

SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for its powertrain systems client in Muskegon, MI(link removed) The individual in this role will be responsible for all aspects of IT solutions and applications development, including: analysis; design and development; testing; documentation; and support for internal- and customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate would have an active security clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engage in a long-term strategy of offering an integrated technology platform to connect equipment, customers, and vendors.


• Interface with both internal and external customers to understand requirements, design and develop specifications, support daily needs, and assist in determining and setting future IT site requirements to improve business operations.


• Execute PL/SQL and provide support for business applications (ERP and Quality systems).


• Manage multiple projects from design and development through to acceptance testing and delivery -- including project estimates, schedules, and communication of status to meet required documentation, and quality standards / methodologies.


• Assess, resolve and document systems and user issues, streamlining processes, collaborating with department and vendors, and updating management as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer systems information or a similar field, with at least 4 years of experience, OR at least 10 years of relevant work experience in place of a degree required.


• Experience with PL/SQL, SQL, Visual Basic, .Net, and other object-oriented development languages required.


• SQL Server knowledge, and experience with ERP systems, required preferably Infor Visual Enterprise ERP.


• Active or past security clearance desired; must be able to obtain security clearance if not current.


• Strong teamwork, customer service and problem-solving capabilities expected.
