Client Details:
Our client holds the constant belief that it s not only about money and numbers, but the lives and futures of all the people who are impacted by the work they do. With specialised capabilities in frontier and emerging markets, and a passion for Africa and China, our client provides independent advice, analyses and reporting for asset owners, investment managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, service providers and brokers.
Role Responsibilities:
- Developing / implementing digital marketing strategies and initiatives across appropriate channels.
- Conceptualising / implementing digital marketing campaigns where appropriate.
- Working with the team to ensure all new and existing content is geared for maximum digital efficacy.
- Managing / optimising email marketing, including managing mailing lists and databases.
- Ensuring the website follows global best practice, is current and content is up to date.
- Ensuring all digital touch points complement one another and are up to date.
- Finding / managing digital outlets for research and content as well as online listings and directories, ensuring consistency in appearance and description of the firm and its offering.
- Leading digital innovations and (marketing) property maintenance with external service providers.
- Ad hoc marketing project / mini-campaign coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Certified Internet Web Professional (CIW) in social media, or multi-media or similar qualification.
Relevant Skills / Experience:
- 4 - 6 years relevant experience.
- Experience in the following:
- A wide range of digital marketing disciplines and tools
- Ability to conceptualise and implement well-thought out, comprehensive solutions.
- UX, email marketing, social media platforms (LinkedIn in particular), SEO, Google Analytics and Google AdWords etc.
- Advanced WordPress experience.
- Comfortable with handling / interpreting complex data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Visual communication / design experience is a big plus.
- Proven organisational skills including the ability to plan and prioritise work to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc.)
