Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for managing sales budgets cultivating strong customers relationships and driving new business growth through proactive cold calling and client visits. You will play a crucial role in achieving both annual and monthly sales targets ensuring seamless order processing and maintaining comprehensive activity reports. Key Responsibilities
1.Sales
  • Responsible for sales budgets in area of responsibility
  • Building and sustaining customer relationships
  • Cold calling and developing new business
  • Achieving annual and monthly budgets agreed upon
  • Customer appointments/visitations
  • Generating quotations and following up on initial orders being placed and ensuring stock is invoiced and delivered
  • Update weekly reports on daily activities
  • Update and submit monthly reports
  • Meet sales budgets
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Oversee sales support managers and their staff
  • Plan and direct staffing training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs
  • Determine price schedules and discount rates
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability
  • Customer Training
2.Customer Service
  • Assisting customers with Personal Protective Equipment requirements providing a solution to a problem
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints
  • Facilitating the follow through of an order
  • Ensure that customer service levels are kept at agreed levels
3.Admin
  • Maintain and submit weekly and quarterly reports and/or presentations
  • Submitting quotes within a timely manner
  • Efficient weekly planning
4.Mangement
  • Achieving growth through all sales teams to achieve service and retention targets
  • Ensuring a deep understanding of the local area and its drivers of value creation
  • Managing sales costs and resources for maximum value against plan
  • Monitoring and delivering the required level of customer satisfaction
  • Relationship Management
5.Stock Control
  • Analyse inventory and take necessary action to reduce slow and nonmoving stocks to optimize stock turn
  • Focus on housebrands to ensure sufficient stock levels based on available consumption reports

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Metric is essential
  • Tertiary qualification
Experience and Other Attributes
Computer Literacy is essentialMicrosoft Office
Sales experience
Administration experience to ensure correct procedures are in place
Proven track record in Markerting Store Management and Sales Achievement
Business Management experience
Willing to trail across the country as and when required
