Job Description
Our client a top financial institution is seeking an engineer to support their infrastructure team:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Being the SME to maintain and support the management tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Azure monitor, Elasticsearch, FluentD, and Kibana
Perform operational support on management software and tools, including installation, administration, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting
Prepare and administer reports and dashboards by reconciling the data from various management tools
Verifies and rectifies system configuration based on security and management reports for meeting compliance requirements
Provide support on patch installation from different vendors in order to ensure systems are secured
Assist procurement and asset management
Provide support on annual BCP / DR drill to ensure the drill is completed successfully
Conduct regular middleware health check and monitoring to ensure critical facilities and responsible systems are working in optimum condition at high availability
Work as second tier support and coordinates with vendors on system maintenance
Provide support during non-office hour whenever needed
Assist and executes assigned tasks in projects to ensure company projects meet the agreed schedule
Contribute to operational efficiency by transforming manual operation into IaC automation
Discuss with IT stakeholders for daily support and project implementation
Communicate with IT and Service Desk for system compliance, daily support
Communicate with external vendors for system maintenance, operations and support
Requirements
Minimum job requirements:
Education & Experience
Degree in IT related discipline with 7 years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education & related experience
Specific Skills
Good technical skill in administration & support on management tools (e.g. Dynatrace, Prometheus, Azure monitor, Elasticsearch, FluentD, and Kibana)
Hands on support skill in Cloud services will be an advantage
Data engineer experience will also be considered
Effective problem solving ability
Work independent and self-starter is highly appreciated
Experience in cloud support will be advantage
