Lead the Evolution of Global Sustainability Standards

Are you eager to shape the future of product sustainability on a global scale The Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute is seeking a dynamic Standards Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of our Cradle to Cradle Certified standards. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to drive strategic advancements and set new benchmarks for environmentally and socially responsible products.

Role Overview

As a Standards Manager you will:

  • Strategically lead the maintenance and evolution of the Cradle to Cradle Certified standard requirements ensuring they reflect the latest scientific advancements and best practices.
  • Provide expert technical support and guidance to internal staff certification applicants and other stakeholders within the Cradle to Cradle Certified community.
  • Develop and execute effective training programs that empower stakeholders to meet and exceed certification standards.
  • Perform rigorous technical reviews of certification applications and product assessments as necessary to ensure compliance and to inform the continuous improvement of standards and tools.
  • Communicate complex standard frameworks and objectives clearly and effectively through various platforms such as stakeholder meetings webinars and technical publications.
  • Conduct research and offer technical support for ongoing program enhancements.


Who Were Looking For

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in environmental sciences sustainability or a closely related scientific/technical discipline.
  • Minimum five years of relevant professional experience with a strong preference for candidates with experience in ecolabels or certification programs.
  • Deep understanding of product manufacturing ecodesign product circularity renewable energy and related fields.
  • Familiarity with leading sustainability regulations and initiatives such as the EU Green Deal is preferred.
  • Exceptional skills in technical writing presentations and communication in English.
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to producing highquality work within tight timelines.
  • A proactive problemsolver who can manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • A strong advocate for sustainability and the Cradle to Cradle design philosophy.
