Job Description

Insero Talent Solutions is currently recruiting for a Training Manager (direct hire) for a privately owned company (client of the firm) based in Rochester, NY. The Training Manager must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in training and supervision to oversee and manage the company’s strategy surround learning and development. The Training Manager will work collaboratively with operations and leadership identifying, developing, implementing and supervising training needs and successful employee onboarding and orientation. The successful candidate must be approachable, team oriented, and is enthusiastic about learning and continual improvement. The salary range is based on experience along with a robust annual bonus, good benefits (including a 401(k) match and ESOP) and an employee-centered culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, managing, and reviewing consistent and pre-defined training and safety programs developing employees’ professional skills. Suggesting improvements and adjustments enhancing engagement, learning, and retention to meet customer, company, and industry changes.
  • Customize training to accommodate various learning styles as well as ensuring training resources and curriculums are precise, up-to-date, and efficient while bringing in advanced practices.
  • Work with the Human Resources and Safety departments developing effective learning systems and safety training, designing training programs relevant to industry.
  • Strategically introduce efficient and safe updates to the company.
  • Create and track consistent training and professional development programs and oversee and facilitate training sessions.
  • Ensuring training needs are being met while abiding by the approved budget.
  • Additional projects (as assigned).

Requirements

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in HR, organizational development, training, or a related field (TCIA certification is desired). At least 5 years of training and supervision experience with excellent organizational, analytical and communications skills. Must be relationship driven and possesses the ability to work independently as well as on a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Proficient with office equipment and team building. Strong project management and leadership skills are desired and proficient knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, DOT, and industry regulations and standards.
