Coordinates the pre-qualification of potential bidders and selection of bidders for tendering for selected contracts.
Ensures conformed contracts are prepared timely, aligns with the proposal and agreed clarifications of the selected bidder, and coordinates the needed approvals and signatures.
Drafts and manages contractual correspondences and performs risk analysis on the contracts.
Ensures that the suppliers are in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations.
Documents contractual discussions, handles contractual issues as they arise, monitors and manages changes and instructions to contractors.
Communicates all contractual issues to the management and seeks guidance as required.
Prepares internal specifications and services in an advisory capacity to assist departments in obtaining specifications, quotations, delivery terms, and costs.
Recommends substitute materials where costs can be reduced or delivery improved.
Coordinates contract close-out and ensures consistency across all contracts
Participates in drafting new procedures, if required.
Coordinates administration activities across all contracts to ensure quality.
Forecasts any potential contractual issues and mitigates claims
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
5-7 years of experience in a contractor company or a real-estate developer.
Exposure to SAP or any related ERP system.
Post-graduate studies in the field of contracts and contract drafting is an asset.
