Job Description
- The Psychiatrist is expected to provide psychiatric services in IMC clinics.
- The Psychiatrist will attend to all cases referred by other agencies and provide psychiatric consultation.
- When indicated, the Psychiatrist will provide temporary coverage in other IMC clinics.
- The Psychiatrist will strictly comply with the professional ethics and principles as well as clinical standards of mental health practices under Jordanian and International Standards established by WHO and MoH.
- Ensure Assessments and treatment regimens are consistent with ICD 10 and DSM-5.
- Provide clinically appropriate follow-ups for cases with MH disorders as required based on individual case issues.
- Record all cases are seen in the psychiatric logbooks during each clinic session.
- Contribute to the case management file, including assessments, treatment plan and quality assurance measures (HoNOS).
- Contributes to Providing clear, concrete and measurable goals and objectives for each case served.
- Ensure proper and accurate recording of prescription and dispensing of Psychotropic medications.
