As Head of Consolidation (m/f/diverse) you are part of our General Accounting Team of Continental Automotive Technologies. You are responsible for the consolidation of financial data provided by consolidated units of the Continental Automotive Technologies Group under IFRS and the Continental Automotive Technologies Group policy and guidelines. With that you centrally contribute to the preparation of Consolidated Group Financial Statements for legal and management reporting for Continental Automotive Technologies.
Your new responsibilities:
- Defining the requirements for the consolidation system as well as implementation of the system changes related to Group consolidation processes and legal reporting
- Ensuring development and compliance of consolidation system (currently SAP BCS) while ensuring IFRS compliance of provided data and technical consolidation in the system
- Consolidation of data to prepare Consolidated Financial Statements and additional information required for legal reporting as well as technical consolidation in the systems
- Proposing improvement in the consolidation and reporting processes monthly or quarterly closing and implementing changes on process on organizational side (legal requirements or internal improvements)
- Leading of the Consolidation team as well as team development
- Support and advisory to the Financial Shared Services and Country manager
- Responsible for Internal Control over Financial Reporting
Qualifications :
- University degree in Economics as well as international accounting certificate (Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA)
- Profound professional experience in accounting and controlling functions
- Several years of professional experience in consolidation with overall responsibility for preparation of consolidated financial statements preferably for a globally acting company in a stocklisted environment
- Project management experience preferably in the field of accounting (e.g. new IFRS implementation postacquisition integration etc.
- Experience in leading crossfunctional global teams as well as natural leaderships skills
- Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken) German language skills preferred
- Intercultural sensitivity and very good crossculture communication and understanding
