Job Description

  • Propose innovative and competitive business solutions for the companys core business areas and techniques including but not limited to Crossing Retaining Protection and Strengthening.
  • Actively engage in sales prospecting and forecasting by building strong relationships with key decisionmakers to drive business growth in Malaysia Singapore and Brunei.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop upstream marketing strategies and positioning to enhance brand presence.
  • Prepare and deliver technocommercial discussions and presentations.
  • Generate and convert sales leads to drive business growth.
  • Negotiate and secure projects by collaborating with contractors consultants and owners.
  • Finalize project orders to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and competitor activities and assess their potential impact on the companys business lines.
  • Consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Fostering strong working and networking relationships with customers by addressing their needs and resolving any complaints promptly.
  • Prepare proposals quotations and design submissions while collaborating closely with the contract and design teams.
  • Attend and organize relevant seminars and workshops to enhance the companys visibility. Propose marketing and communication campaigns and participate in industry conferences and exhibitions.
  • Lead mentor and provide training to BD/Design engineers.
  • Update sales reports and MIS using CRM (Salesforce).
  • Involve in ISO matters related to quality environmental and safety management systems and support the development and implementation of these systems.
  • Implement and promote the companys QHSE policies and procedures ensuring that SF group policies are understood followed and adhered to by all employees.
  • Must be adaptable to change in line with the organizations culture and future needs. Take on any other adhoc tasks assigned by the Managing Director and the company as required.
  • Optional in Technical Design
  • Develop building specifications and solutions for civil projects.
  • Perform slope stability analysis using commercial software (e.g. Talren or equivalent).
  • Design for cross retaining protecting and strengthening using Reinforced Earth products.
  • Design precast arches ground anchors steel mesh netting rockfall barriers rockfall netting rock bunds soil nailing basal reinforcement geosynthetic separators geosynthetic drainage layers and steep slopes using geogrids.
  • Create construction drawings.
  • Conduct designs using Finite Element Method (FEM)


Requirements

  • Bachelor s/Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering / Marketing & Sales /Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years experience
  • Sales expertise coupled with a foundational understanding of Geotechnical design/structural engineering.
  • Skilled in Geotechnical and structural projects.
  • Proven experience in business development within the construction industry.
  • Wellestablished network within the construction industry including company owners consultants main contractors and customers.
  • Strong knowledge of the market engineering applications and technologies.
  • Outstanding communication presentation and networking abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications particularly Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and other related software.
  • Proficient in software such as AutoCAD Plaxis Talren GeoSlope Rockscience and other relevant tools.
  • Selfsufficient and skilled in leading projects.
  • Assertive negotiator with the ability to successfully close deals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa.
  • Exceptional client management and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
