Job Description
As the Director of Human Resources you will play a key role in driving talent strategies workforce planning and organizational effectiveness supporting our large global supply chain group. You will partner with senior stakeholders to develop and implement peoplefocused initiatives that enhance engagement improve retention and support business objectives. You will ensure HR programs and services meet the evolving needs of the organization while fostering a culture of collaboration inclusion and continuous improvement.

Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield IL. Effective mid2025 Fortune Brands will transition to a new worldclass campus in Deerfield bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices brands and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration along with amenities for dining onsite daycare fitness and recreation.
What you will be doing:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide HR business partnering and consultative support acting as a trusted advisor on talent and organizational strategies.
- Develop and execute workforce planning talent management and employee engagement initiatives that align with business priorities.
- Manage and guide organizational design and change management efforts to enhance efficiency agility and team effectiveness.
- Implement strategies to enhance associate engagement reduce turnover and strengthen retention through targeted HR initiatives.
- Drive HR service delivery improvements incorporating best practices and leveraging analytics for datadriven decisionmaking.
- Act as a steward for talent management mentoring and developing HR teams while fostering a culture of growth development and inclusion.
- Support manage and guide HR projects including learning & development programs workforce planning and other strategic peoplefocused initiatives.
- Ensure HR programs and services meet or exceed the evolving needs of the organization continuously improving HR processes and service levels.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- 10 years of HR experience with a generalist background.
- 5 years in an advanced HR management role.
- Previous experience supporting a global supply chain manufacturing or distribution/transporation operations for a large organization.
- Strong track record in organizational development talent strategy and workforce planning.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MBA or advanced degree.
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRMSCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRMCP).

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $140000 USD $220000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased sales incentive plan.
