Job Description

Conduct thorough inspections of vacuum valves to identify wear damage ormalfunctioning components ensuring optimal performance.
Disassemble and clean vacuum valves using specialized tools followingmanufacturer guidelines to maintain integrity and safety.
Replace faulty components such as seals springs and diaphragm assemblies torestore valves to operational standards.
Calibrate vacuum valves to meet precise specifications guaranteeing efficiency invarious industrial applications.
Document repair processes meticulously providing clear reports to maintaincompliance with safety and operational protocols.
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot system failures offering insights onpotential causes and preventive measures.
Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and tools ensuring readiness forimmediate repair needs.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules proactively addressing potentialissues before they escalate into costly repairs.
Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols in valverepair and maintenance.
Stay updated with industry advancements and technologies integrating newtechniques to enhance repair processes.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent as well as a technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in vacuum valve repair or similar mechanical repair roles.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
Familiarity with vacuum systems and related components is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining highquality standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and repair manuals.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime and oncall shifts as needed.
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a mechanical repair environment.
Proficient in the use of hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment
