Pay Rate:$18.00$20.00/hr

Travel Required:30%50% of the time
We are seeking a skilledValve Technician Assemblerto join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in valve maintenance manual machining welding and troubleshooting with the ability to travel to customer sites and service centers.Preferred backgrounds include diesel mechanics HVAC technicians and prior valve technicians.
Position Requirements
- Drug Screening:Hair follicle test.
- Background Check:Free from violent and theftrelated felonies for the past 7 years.
- Driving License:Valid DL with a clean MVR.
Key Responsibilities
- Machining & Welding:Perform basic manual machining and welding tasks.
- Valve Maintenance:Handson troubleshooting assessment repair and maintenance of valves in the workshop or onsite.
- PSV Testing:Conduct certified PSV testing and complete QA/QC documentation as per VR program requirements (if skilled).
- Disassembly & Reassembly:Dismantle inspect clean repair and reassemble valves according to specifications.
- Material Compliance:Ensure all work and materials comply with manufacturer specifications.
- Schematics Interpretation:Read and interpret schematics for assembly repair and applicable quality documentation.
- Failure Assessments:Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to onsite supervisors.
- Safety Observations:Perform routine safety observations and inspections to uphold workplace standards.
Preferred Experience
- Background:Diesel mechanics HVAC systems and prior valve technician roles.
- Technical Skills:Manual machining experience.
- Documentation Skills:Ability to complete quality documentation accurately in paper or electronic formats.
